What happens if you lose the name, the warmth of the family at home? For everyone the house is a place where to laugh and tell stories with family members. But it is different with Manuel Bonifacio's family, who feel they have lost their name, the warmth of their family after the death of their beloved wife and all their children, Allan, Bryan, Cha and Dexter are busy with their respective jobs and choose not to live with their father. His father lived with only one relative. One day, his father, Manuel, received the shocking news that he had cancer, and he only had 7 weeks to live. Panic and anxiety even came to the children after being notified in a written message sent by their father. The four children decided to spend the remaining 7 weeks of their father's life in the house they grew up in.
The film by Cathy Garcia-Molina is really heartbreaking and makes you smack when you watch it. This film is clearly about a family. If the name is a family, there must be conflicts between one family member and another. Fortunately, the conflict given by this film feels so solid and fits for 2 hours. With the presence of 4 children, the conflicts that have occurred one by one can be tackled one by one. The conflict that this film provides is so pronounced with extraordinary music that fits the scene. For some viewers, the Seven Sundays film is a personal film, maybe you will be flustered by what happened in this film or do you also feel what is felt in this film?
The players in the Seven Sundays film produced by Star Cinema have strong chemistry with each other as family members. The way they speak from words and expressions feels like a whole family whose stories are real, not fictional. Call it Ronaldo Valdez as a father who feels so dignified, Aga Muhlach as the oldest child is so selfish but can be wise to protect his younger siblings, Dingdong Dantes, as the second most successful child among others, Christine Ryes as the only girl and has problems in his own family, as well as the bontot Enrique Gil, who felt isolated from family members after the death of his mother so he became a semi broken home.
Finally, the film Seven Sundays is a must-watch film for self-reflection for those of you who have family, younger siblings, and older siblings. You can be a little aware or even flustered by what is given in this filipine film. Prepare a tissue or handkerchief when watching the Seven Sundays film.
