From playing Lods in “Rewind” (2023), Pepe Herrera plays a nag who taunts Satan here, but I don't get the point of all that fruit he's brandishing. The jokes and gags from the ensemble of supporting comic pals may have some misses or shock value, but in general they are  

Religion has always been a thorny topic in films, but writer Sherwin Bienvenida and director Marius Talampas take a firm stance on this, pushing the edge of the R16 rating. The story is an adaptation of the Book of Job, and entire scenes are dedicated to this parallelism. Comedy can somehow lighten the mood, but the point is clear. Of course, there are still some cliche scenes that seem ridiculous, all done with a slapstick spirit.
